BSE Sensex surges to 50,000 for the 1st time ever, people celebrate with memes:
For the first time in its 34-year history, Sensex has crossed the 50,000 mark. The 30-share index of the BSE was up over 250 points at 50,048 that is double from where it stood in March 2020 at 25,638.

Various factors contribute to the high numbers such as Joe Biden taking the oath, the World Health Organization approving COVID-19 vaccines, European Central Bank’s easy money policy, inflation rise in the UK, and last but definitely not the least, buying by domestic and foreign investors.
