Punit Pathak wins Khatron ke Khiladi Season 9

Yesterday, the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 9 took place and Choreographer Punit Pathak lifted up the winning trophy. He beat out finalist Ridhima Pandit and Adita Narayan in the task. Along with the trophy, he also won prize money of INR 20 Lakh and a brand new car. Throughout the season he impressed the task master and anchor Rohit Shetty and audience with his strength and great performances.

Punit never entered the elimination round and performed all his task in time. However, the main highlight of his performance during the season was when he selflessly performed a stunt for an injured Aditya Narayan when he did not have to. to save his friend and not wanting him to suffer because of an injury, Punit went ahead and performed the stunt on his behalf.

After winning the show Punit said: “Nothing comes easy for me this win was due to sheer hard work, focus, determination, and self-belief. It feels great to be crowned as the ultimate winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. Winning a show that directs its participants to face their fears and overcome them, does wonder to their confidence. I would like to thank Rohit sir and my fellow-participants for this opportunity.”

At the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi Akshay Kumar performed daredevil stunts on the stage. In the stunt, Akshay was seen getting chased by a truck while he attempted to cross burning cars. Shankar Mahadevan, Neeti Mohan, and Dilijit Dosanjh also held a live audition on the show.

Rohit Shetty on the grand finale expressed his feeling and said, “Watching the participants push their boundaries have always been an incredible experience and I have witnessed that best on Khatron Ke Khiladi. Punit Pathak has been a well deserving winner as he fought all odds and took all the challenges head-on. I am extremely proud of each and every contestant who bravely fought their fears. Together we had a great time and a memorable experience.”
