The wedding pictures of Priyanka and Nick Jonas have finally surfaced on the internet, which were released by People’s magazine. The pictures were later posted by Nick who wrote:  Happiest day of my life.”  And Priyanka captioned the pictures: “And forever starts now,” It was a grand wedding, the couple got married in both Hindu and Christian traditions.

 

 


After hosting a grand dream wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace, the couple hosted their first reception for their friends and family. It was held at the Taj Palace Hotel. The function was attended by Prime Minister of India Mr.Narendra Modi.

In the function Priyanka looked dazzling in a silver lehenga while Nick complemented her in a black tuxedo. The actress completed her new bride look with matching jewelry and a hair bun with white flowers.

The Christian wedding took place on 1st December and the ceremony was officiated by Nick’s father Paul Kevin Jonas. For this wedding ceremony Priyanka wore a stunning gown designed by Ralph Lauren himself and Nick also wore black suit from the same label. The couple wore Chopard wedding bands. We loved Priyanka’s extra-long veil.

For the Hindu wedding on 2nd December, the couple wore outfits designed by Sabyasachi. Priyanks looked beautiful in a red heavily embellished lehenga and Nick wore a hand-embroidered silk sherwani. Both of them looked stunning together.

Priyanka Chopra @priyankachopra makes for a stunning bride in a custom red Sabyasachi lehenga. Hand-embroidered and hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss, delicate Siam-red crystals and layer upon layer of threadwork embroidery creates this piece of impossible couture. 110 embroiderers from Calcutta, India took 3720 hours to create this modern masterpiece. As an ode to the resplendence of Mughal jewellery, her wedding jewellery was crafted with uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold and had delicate tiny stars in uncut diamonds to give a sense of whimsy to an important traditional piece. Nick Jonas @nickjonas wears a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa. It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives.
