This generation is always a step ahead.Nowadays they have started using some really crazy words in their daily lives. Being a parent we don’t even know the meaning of those words and it seems they have a different language altogether. We are sure many other parents too would be curious to know more about this new language created the the teens. Though we too are also in learning stage but here are few words which we know

BAE

This word is being used for a long time now and is still in trend. Bae simply means someone close to you, boyfriend, girlfriend or even food at times. “She is my Bae”.

LOL

LOL is an abbreviation to laugh out Loud. It is the most popular slanf and teenagers love short forms instead of “hahaha” they like to write LOL.

YAASSSSS!

The word simply means “YES”. This version uses one “Y” And lots of “A” and is always capitalized. A teen uses it when they are excited about something. “I am buying a new phone! YASSSSS”.

HASHTAG#

“Hashtag” are used in sarcastic way to describe a point they are making. The hashtag use popularly began with twitter but now it is used on other social media platforms as well like Instagram . “She is 22 and married #who cares”.

Fam

Fam is just a short form of the word “Family”. Because abbreviation stuff is so cool and is used by teenagers to represent their close groups like “InstaFam”, “CollegeFam”, “OfficeFam”.
