Indian photographers recreate gods with dark skin and the results are amazing:

With 29 states and a population of 1.2 billion people, India is the most diversified country in the world. In India some different cultures and traditions are followed by 9 religions. But one common thing is that every God or Goddess whom we worship is white-skinned when the population majorly has a darker skin tone.

Thus, two Chennai based photographers Naresh Nil and Bhardwaj Sunday, break the stereotypes and re-create the same image of Gods with a dark tone and the pictures are beautiful:
