Mansee Kakkar , a 21 year old girl was rushed to the hospital after she vomited blood.  She was rushed to a government hospital where the doctors  told her that she might have eaten a stale sandwich and advised her to get an X-ray done due to the severe symptoms. Later she was shifted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where she was successfully operated.

Mansee Kakkar had a two-inch-long rusted metallic wire piece in her food pipe. The metallic wire piece was then handed over to the family, which is now preparing to file a case of gross negligence against the multi-national cafe chain.

Talking to a national daily, Mansi said that immediately after I ate the sandwich, I had excruciating pain in my throat and then I could not even swallow my spit or a drop of water. I vomited blood. My friends then rushed me to a nearby hospital.’’

After knowing this incidence Team AAW wanted to know the café chain so contacted Mansee but she refused to tell the name because of legal issues. It’s a really shameful incidence and negligence on the part of this international coffee chain.

Even a small mistake can put a customer’s life at risk so it’s very important for those related to this industry to be very careful and pay full attention in the kitchen. “Once I was served with a small cockroach in my milk shake at a reputed restaurant in Mumbai, reminisces Radhika Gupta, a second year college students.
