We know undergarments are very important but we barely pay attention to them especially underwear. No matter how perfect clothes you are wearing but if you are not wearing the right underwear you won’t feel comfortable. Also wearing fancy fabrics and too tight underwear can lead to health issues.

Team AAW lists few underwear mistakes one should avoid for better health

Tight underwear: Wearing too tight underwear will not only make you uncomfortable but will also affect the circulation. This can lead to yeast infection or an UTI. Also you will be conscious throughout the day pulling and adjusting them.
Shape wear: Shapewears are very tight so that they can hide all the love handles and fat which can lead to nerve impingement, decreased circulation and slow down digestion. The high waisted body shapers squeeze organs like the intestines, stomach, and colon. Also shapewear makes it very difficult to go to the bathroom, so when you wear one, you tend to hold it for more then you should. It’s not that you should not wear it but try not to wear it for long.
Fabric: Cotton underwear helps to keep you cool and fresh but synthetic fabrics are not breathable, which increases the risk of moisture being trapped and retained, which can create a yeast or bacterial infection.

Going commando: Wearing no underwear causes a whole host of other problems, particularly because clothing doesn’t tend to have a liner. If you are wearing pants the seam sits right in the vaginal area and will constantly be rubbing the area, which can irritate sensitive tissue. Also, the natural moisture produced by the vagina has nowhere to go when you’re not wearing underwear.
Sweaty undies: Women  who tend to sweat a lot should change their underwear twice a day as warm, moist environment is the perfect place for yeast to grow.
Detergents: No one expects your undies to smell like a bouquet, so skip any products that irritate the super-sensitive skin down there.
