Good news for all Delhiities as Merlin Entertainments said that it will be opening a branch of the world-famous wax museum Madame Tussauds in India by 2017. Madame Tussauds is famous for life like wax figures of celebrities.The museum will be launched mid-next year in the Regal Cinema at Connaught Place and will be spread over two floors.
John Jakobsen, Chief New Openings Officer, said – “We are delighted to be announcing that our 22nd Madame Tussauds Attraction will be opening in Delhi. Ever since we introduced Amitabh Bachchan as the first Bollywood figure in Madame Tussauds London in 2000, we have seen how Madame Tussauds appeals to the Indian consumer, and having a permanent attraction in the heart of the country’s capital made perfect sense for the evolution of the Madame Tussauds story.”
Now we don’t have to visit other countries to see the beautiful wax figures at Madam Tussauds. I have been to Madame Tussauds before but I am really looking forward for the Delhi one. More excited for 2017 now.
