Here is how India thanked emergency workers

Here is how people cheered for emergency workers across India amidst lockdown.

People showed their respect to all the emergency workers across India fighting against Corona Virus.  COVID-19 is spreading across countries like wildfire and has sent even the most crowded and happening cities into lockdown.

The citizens have been instructed to stay at home and not step out of the house until absolutely necessary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a ‘Janta Curfew’ on 22nd March, Sunday and also urged people to come to their balconies at 5 pm and clap for the emergency workers who have been working day and night to help patients affected by COVID-19.  People also acknowledged the efforts of security personnel and delivery executives making it possible for us to stay at home.

Many videos were shared from all over India and people clapped and cheered for the frontline warriors. Here is how India united in the face of this adversity.

UNICEF India also shared a video.

Senior Ministers also came out in support and expressed their gratitude.

Celebrities including Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, and Karishma Kapoor also showed support.
