Food review: Dunking over Dunkin’ Donuts

Dunking over Dunkin’ Donuts!

Finally Dunkin’ Donuts makes its India foray with three branches in Delhi. Dunkin’ Donuts & More is how the brand wants to be known because they no longer make donuts only.

Now donut isn’t something many understand in terms of taste. Donut has a sweet-savory taste; some find it a bit salty for meetha! Over the weekend I visited the Connaught place  and G.K. part 1 outlet and believe me Dunkin Donuts has arrived!

Food: The donuts are amazing, especially the jelly one. The sheer variety of donuts amazed me! Its like all your gluttonous dreams at one place. The cold coffee and milkshakes are extremely frothy, though a bit heavy on the stomach. But worth the relief they provide you in this sizzling heat! They have a huge vegetarian donut selection too for vegetarians.

The food beyond the donuts is your regular stuffed sandwiches but a special mention to cupwich its a tart filled with cheese and mushrooms or chicken, a must have for a cheese fan.

Price: Many though Dunkin’ would be extravagently priced, given their menu and brand value. But surprise! the prices are very much in sync to the other coffee shops like Costa, Barista, etc.

Meal for Two: Rs 300

Ambiance: The place has minimalistic seating with bright coloured decor.

Must Try: Don’t miss the Strawberry double delight , Double Chocolate  and Classic White  Chocolate  donut.  Bite into Cupwich if you like gooey cheese centered nibbles. The cold coffees are equally good.
