Doing makeup quickly is not an easy task, every day before leaving for work we do makeup in such a good speed that we feel proud for ourselves. And now you can be recognized for your efforts, thanks to the artist and founder of Huda Beauty, Huda Kattan.
Recently the makeup influencer invited her followers and fans to take part in the #elevatormakeupchallenge, a new beauty trend where people try to do their makeup as quickly as possible while in a moving elevator. They have to do it in such a way that they look glam by the time they reach their floor.
And the best part is not only taking part in the challenge but Huda also announced that there will be a giveaway of $5000 to the person who wins the challenge. As per a press release, the money won by the lucky winner will go towards a makeup scholarship, training, course or charity of their choice.
To win the chance applicants have to complete and film their full face makeup in time and upload their video on Instagram using hashtag #elevatormakeupchallenge from 17th July to 27th July.
The owner of the brand will be choosing three finalists who her followers will get the chance to vote for on the blog www.hudabeauty.com on 28th July and the finalist’s video will be the one with the most votes.
She herself took the challenge and shared the results in a video on Instagram.

The video got many comments like one user said: ‘Omg this is so fun and you did it so amazingly’ while another person said: ‘I love you so much you keep everything so real. This will be the only challenge I’ll be doing just for you.’
It really has been a busy month for the makeup icon Huda, as she launched her Facebook series – Huda Boss with her sister Mona in the early months of summer this year. In the reality TV show daily lives of both sisters, professional and personal are shown.
In an interview, she said: ‘It was really difficult at times,’ she explained. ‘There was just so much going on, and there were a few times when I thought, “I just can’t do this.”‘ However, looking back at the show they have created, the businesswoman says she is thrilled to have had the opportunity to show the world what life is really like while running a successful brand.
Before this challenge, they also organized 100 layers challenge in which people were seen applying 100 layers of beauty products such as lipstick, foundation and nail polish.
They have hosted many others including blindfolded makeup challenge, five minutes challenge, and no mirror makeup challenge.
