Amitabh Bachchan shared the news of Ritu Nanda’s sad demise and reportedly left for the funeral soon after. Ritu Nanda is Shweta Bachchan’s mother in law and Raj Kapoor’s eldest daughter.

Aishwarya Bachchan was seen joining Amitabh Bachchan at Mumbai’s Kalina airport after he shared the news through his blog. The blog read “My ‘samdhan’ Ritu Nanda, Shweta’s Mother in Law passed away suddenly at 1.15 am… cannot communicate… traveling.”

Karan Johar and Gauri Khan were also spotted at the same airport and other celebrities were seen arriving at the funeral.

Ritu Nanda is also sister to Rishi, Randhir, Rajiv and Rima Kapoor and wife of industrialist Rajan Nanda.

Ridhima Kapoor Sahni shared a heartfelt post on social media.
