Sonakshi trolled for her KBC stint!

The internet can be a cruel place for Bollywood celebrities sometimes, every new day some or the other star is trolled for their actions or words. Recently Sonakshi Sinha became the target to brutal trolling when she failed to answer a Ramayana related question on the popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

Since the incident, she was trending all over the social media and many users also started using hashtag #YoSonakshisodumb.

After receiving a heavy criticism she replied with a tweet:

“Dear jaage hue trolls.I don’t even remember the Pythagoras theorem,Merchant of Venice,Periodic Table,Chronology of the Mughal Dynasty,aur kya kya yaad nahi woh bhi yaad nahi. Agar aapke paas koi kaam nahi aur Itna time hai toh please yeh sab pe bhi memes banao na. I love memes “.

Sonakshi appeared on the show to support a Rajasthani artisan Ruma Devi. The question that she was asked:, “According to Ramayana, Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani buti (herb) for whom?” The options given were Sugriva, Lakshmana, Sita and Rama. The actress got confused between four options and used a lifeline to answer the particular question. She was attacked by the netizens for the same reason.

Not only the netizens, but even Bachchan mocked Sonakshi for not knowing the answer of a Ramayana-related question. He seemed disappointed and said, “Aapke pitaji ka naam hai Shatrughan, aap jis ghar me rehti hain, uska naam hai Ramayan. Aapke jitne chacha hain, wo sab Ramayan se sambandhit hain, Aapko ye nahi pata ki Lakshman ke liye laaye they jadibooti?.
