Ways to celebrate Mother’s day during Covid times

Check out some simple ways to celebrate Mother’s day in quarantine:

Every year we celebrate mother’s day in honor of our relationship with moms. Though, looking at the situation right now, most of us will be celebrating this day at home and some even away from their moms. And because of lockdown, some mother’s day outings like lunch, spa, and dinner dates, can’t take place now. But this doesn’t mean Mother’s Day is canceled, we can still celebrate it. Here are some ways to celebrate Mother’s day in quarantine:

  • Morning tea

Every day when you wake up she has already had her cup of tea. But on Sunday, why don’t you wake her up with a sweet little cup of tea made especially for her? I am sure she will love this.

  • Make breakfast for her

After waking up the first thing that we ask is mom what is in breakfast? So this morning, let her ask you the same thing? Cook delicious breakfast for her, a tray full of pancakes, eggs, or her favorite food.

  • Give her a manicure

I am sure every woman needs this right now. While you won’t be able to give her proper spa treatment, you can give her a quick manicure at home. Grab a few nail paints and scrub, give her a relaxing manicure at home.

  • Get ready and get clicked

We know it has been long since you both dolled up together and who needs an occasion to get ready? So, take out a pretty dress for her, do her makeup, get yourself ready as well and click amazing pictures with her. After all, pictures are great memories.

  • Movie date

We generally used to take her out for a movie on this day, but since you can’t go out, why not turn the house into a movie hall? Watch some great mother-daughter movies with her. You can also have a movie marathon.

  • Pamper her with a head massage

Head massage is really relaxing; pamper your mother with a relaxing chumpi this mother’s day.

  • Bake a cake

This one is typical and important as well. Celebrations are not complete without cake, so bake her favorite cake this mother’s day.
