This pandemic has surely changed everyone’s life, now we all are accepting the new normal. While Covid-19 is still taking over the world, the wedding industry also adapts to the changing formats of ceremonies. Various couples, in the last few months, have been coming up with different ways to celebrate this day. With everything on the change, there are some new terms also, from “social distancing” to “flatten the curve” a lot has been added to our vocabulary. So here is the list of terms that every bride should know in these times of pandemic:

  • Latermoon 

It is a holiday that couples would take after a few weeks or months after their wedding. Because it is not recommended to travel right now. 

  • Micro-wedding 

These are the wedding low-key weddings with not more than 50 guests. They happen with a much smaller scale like weddings in this lockdown. 

  • Coronabride 

Any girl who is getting married or engaged in this coronavirus pandemic is a Corona bride/groom. 

  • Minimony 

Minimony is a tiny wedding ceremony with just 10 people. 

  • Socially distant wedding 

We have heard the word social distancing a lot this year. A socially distant wedding is the one where all social distancing measures are in place. 

  • Wifelorette 

A wifelorette is a party that’s organized for a woman after her wedding if the bride’s bachelor party did not happen earlier. 

  • COVID couple 

A couple who is planning their wedding in this pandemic is a covid couple.
