Have you been gymming with no results? Well science has some answers, researchers have found that aerobics is the best way to lose those unwanted kilos.
The Duke University Medical Centre did the largest trial to see the changes in body composition with the help of aerobic exercises, weight training and a combination of the two. The study found that aerobic exercises help weight loss by increasing the metabolic rate. Whereas resistance training did help lose waist inches but did not move stubborn fat.
So, the best way to burn fat is to do aerobic exercises, including walking, running and swimming.
However researchers say that if you are short on time and not dieting, cardio is the best way to lose weight in short-term. For long term benefits and to maintain weight loss strength training is required.
