Period Films in Bollywood are all queued up for their releases. Many are already in headlines and some are lined up for their production. The list has names like Raazi starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal as leads, releasing on May 11. Next is Gold of Akshay Kumar which is slated to release on the Independence Day, 2018. The film is based on India’s first Olympic medal win as a free nation. Others films we are looking forward to are Manikarnika- the Queen of Jhansi starring Kangana Ranaut, Kesari starring Akshay Kumar again, Panipat starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, Kalank starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dikshit and lastly Taanaji having Ajay Devgn in lead role.
