Remember Simran, Raj and the sarson ke khet? Most of us grew up believing the beautiful love story in Dilwale Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or DDLJ as t was called. Years after its release DDLJ has been voted the favourite Bollywood film from the past 100 years.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was a rom-com at the time when Indian audiences did not know about this genre. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge has the right mix of emotions with a strict father, a loveable mother and the chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is one if the best performance we have seen.

The film won by 47 per cent of the votes in an online poll conducted across social networking sites to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Indian film industry. The poll was conducted by Sanona, the UK’s largest online Pay Per View (PPV) Indian movie streaming service.
