Food Review: Café OMG!

Cafe OMG
Cafe OMG

Welcome to the café where angels, harps, violins and a cloudy sky transfer you a modern day version of heaven with chic upholstery. Café OMG recently opened doors in the restaurant dense CP. So what set them apart? Their wonder take on drinks and some revolutionary food.

Meal for two: Around 2000 INR

Ambience: The eatery is based on their version of heaven and has a beautiful ceiling with artificial white clouds and harps on pillars. The deep red couches will make you sit some more, talk and maybe share that one last drink before heading out. As a theme restaurant, it’s mosaic glasses, ceiling and all work, the lighting for me doesn’t.

Service: The staff is very polite, quick and courteous.

Drinks: The drinks at Café OMG! Are the main players, with two of our cocktails presented in glass ball which contained the alcohol and had to be broken with a mini hammer. It was a delight! They also do bubble shakes which are great in terms of taste.

Food: The food can be best described as comfort food and great for nibbling on with your meal. The naan-izza or the naan based pizza was a big hit on our table.

Kacchi ambi chichen tikka had a sweet and sour taste. A must try for its flavours and the chutney comes in a super cute mini pressure cooker. We ordered a white sauce grilled chicken pasta, it is creamy and high on taste.
