Enter the majestic Tribe which is made into a tribal zone complete with shacks, wooden plates and stunning tribal armour inspired décor. Tribe is located past the malls of Vasant Kunj area and it is huge with its predominant open sitting and a smaller inner sitting for AC freaks like me! It has a huge parking area so parking is sorted and easy.

I love this place for its delicately balanced food and its motive to make themes happening. Tribe has sufi nights on Friday, Tribal nights, Gazal nights and pooch friendly Sunday brunches too.

Meal for two: Around 3000

Ambience: The eatery as the name suggests offers a great ambience complete with tribal thatched huts inspired outdoor seating. In summers they have their air mist fans so you will not feel hot.

The indoor seating is more comfortable for families and has huge glass doors which show you the outdoor seating area. The lighting is sublte and pretty. It adds to the whole charm of the place. Beautiful wood blocks, wooden armour, wooden plates add to the whole tribal feel.

Service: The staff is very polite, quick and courteous. They help you out while ordering so that you can pick what you like.

Drinks: They serve unique delish cocktails from a tribal-tini

which is a masale-dar vodka based cocktail, to a jalapeño martini which has the kick of a jalepeno balanced with some lime.

Food: The food is unique. Very few places in Delhi know how to balance the food and make sure its not heavy or greasy. This food is delicious without being heavy and has a burst of flavours which will take you back for more. Their USP is their sea food and they get the fresh produce to make sure the flavours speak.

The cottage cheese skewers were soft pieces of paneer which were delicately spiced a must try for veggie lovers.  Roasted ricotta field mushrooms are succulent mushroom bites which are served on a piece of bread and stuffed with ricotta which

makes it cheesy.

The roast leg of lamb is delicately spiced lamb served on a bed of mash and veggies alone with fried bread to add flavour. It is a complete meal in itself.

Tribe special grilled chicken was a beautifully made chicken which was cooked perfectly and served with a yummy honey dip. The bacon on top was perfectly crispy and not overdone. I can go back for this especially the sauce is a must try.

The desserts are addictive, I had a tiramisu which had the perfect hit of coffee to make you feel the bite and was beautifully presented. The chocolate cake was heavenly its gooey, dark, rich, chocolate flavour and texture takes you to heaven and back.
