What happens when you want a nice cozy restaurant and soon find one? Imagine being transported to a beautiful happening New York style eatery in the middle of South Delhi complete with awesome environment and yummylicious food. Heavenly right? Well Zingo Star is something like that it’s warm, fun environment the kinds you can go with your friends to chill out, for a solo cup of coffee or with family. We went to Zingo Star and were bowled over by their concept and food.
Meal for two: Approx 1500 INR
Ambience: The ambience is cozy and yet uber cool. With graffiti on the walls quirky décor and different seats it is stylish but something about Zingo Star makes you feel warm and welcome. They
have table numbers on each table and a bell to call the wait staff. PS They also plan on having a hall of fame for people who finish their fiery chicken wings.
Service: Service is quick and they know their food. They will suggest you what to order and what works.
Food: The food is exceptional. The pizza and shakes are a yummy and well made but it is their chicken wings that stand out. They have a gigantic variety of chicken wings which are described complete with their scoville chilli meter. PS they have also divided the wings in a medium, hot and very very hot sauces. And we tried the Pain 100% killed me in a bite but was so yummy that I wanted more. The Chipotle Barbeque sauce and Spicy Garlic sauce were winners you can’t stop at one wing.
The burger sliders are great individual portions I loved the keema pao it was desi and still succulent juicy unlike the dry keema served mostly.
PS they also serve some exceptional poutine, I have always had poutine got packets of readymade stuff whenever cousins drop in from abroad but nothing beats the original stuff.
Must Try: The drool-worthy wings, kit kat shake, the thin crust gooey cheese pizza, poutine, basically the whole menu.
