Bollywood’s award season has started and this year’s International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) took place yesterday night in Bangkok, Thailand. The 19th edition of the event started with the glamorous entry of stars who donned the green carpet in their fashionable outfits. IIFA is said to be one of the most important awards in the film industry, but apart from films, it is famous for the fashion choices of celebrities.
Veteran actress Sridevi was given the posthumously Best Actress for her portrayal of a strong mother in Bollywood film Mom, whereas, Irrfan Khan who is currently not well won the Best Actor award for his role in Hindi Medium. Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu which had the maximum nominations at the IIFA 2018, won the best picture award.
The award show saw the presence of several Bollywood celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Bobby Doel, Rekha, Karan Johar, Shraddha Kapoor and others.
