We have all seen the saas bahu, sob fests, marriage remarriages and umpteen divorcees, tacky jewelry loud makeup and the endless misconceptions. After all most television serials on Indian telly have the same story. But here are 5 TV shows which need to stop before they are called as public mental torture:
Uttaran: What started as a saga about how to create equality among poor-rich is now in its third stage where the children of Icchki and Tapu are friends and Icchki’s dauchter is actually her! With a weird bizzre story where they reach Pakistan, become sucide bombers, women using witchcraft, accidents the show is hardly about poor-rich equality. Some reports say this show will be ending soon though there is no official confirmation.
Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma: Weird language, caricature like characters and stale-mate comedy. This show has become repetitively annoying.
Sasural Simar Ka: It’s annoying to see such young women act bhenji! Also we feel they mock god most of the times. Plus Simar has married some 4 times to the same guy. Add to that the recent story which projected it as modern day Ramayan, need we say more?
CID: They are better than FBI! CID solves cases in a jiffy and their idea of introducing humour and romance is pure torture. Can they please become slick and replace all those balding fat men with a sleek hot men?
Balika Vadhu: The show has clearly run its life. It is no longer about child marriage and its repercussions on life. The lead pair are now married to other people, love marriages, mind you. Also Jailser looks more modern than Delhi in love marriages, remarriages and affairs. Child marriage is no longer around!
