Kareena Kapoor Khan’s book “pregnancy bible” gets in trouble as a Christian group files complaint:
Kareena recently announced her book last week on social media. And one day after Kareena Kapoor Khan’s book “Pregnancy Bible” got into controversy because of its title, a Maharashtra-based Christian group has now filed a police complaint against the actress and two others. As per a report, the word ‘Bible’ in the book’s title has caused discontent among people.
Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh president Ashish Shinde accused Kareena and two others of hurting religious sentiments. The complaint has been filed under IPC section 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) against the actress and the two others.
The complaint is filed at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station in Beed over the book. Other than Kareena, Aditi Shah is the second author and the book is published by Juggernaut Books.
Shinde, who filed the complaint, said that the word “Bible” in the book’s title has hurt the religious sentiments of the Christian community.
Kareena launched her book on July 9, she said that the book is a personal account of what she experienced physically and emotionally through both her pregnancies
