A still from Gori Tere Pyaar Mein
A still from Gori Tere Pyaar Mein

After  ‘I Hate Luv Storys’,Punit Malhotra’s next starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Imran Khan is out. Like the couple’s previous film this rom-com will surely be a  success at the box-office, let’s check it out.

Cast: Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Isha Gupta (special appearance)

Director: Punit Malhotra

Duration: 2 hours 27 minutes

Story: The story  is about  a young architect and his struggle to cross a bridge, a bridge that bridges the love and gap between two people. Sriram Venkat (Imran Khan) a young architect from America lands up in a small village in India to win his love Dia (Kareena Kapoor), a passionate, strong-headed, young activist from Delhi.

Imran realises that  he is not over Dia and still loves her and that she is the best change that ever happened but Dia has moved on and is now in an obscure village in Gujarat called Jhumli.

When Sriram lands up to Jhumli and tries to woo her back, Diya strongly refuses him .This is when Sriram feels the only way to win his love back is to build a bridge in the village, and to her heart.

Music: The music of the film is composed by Vishal-Shekhar  and the lyrics are by Anvita Dutt, Kausar Munir and Kumaar. As expected from  Dharma production film, the songs are very catchy. The marriage partyand celebration number, ‘Tooh‘ is designed to rock the wedding season.  ‘Dhat teri Ki‘ is party number with fresh vocals of singers Sanam Puri and Aditi Singh Sharma.

Why you should watch this movie: You can watch GTPM for Kareena and Imran and for some catchy numbers.

Why should miss this movie:  The movie has a weak storyline and nothing new. The direction is very poor. The sets of the films are not very attractive. Kareena doesn’t fit well in the desi avatar. Imran Khan’s is disappointing and lacks expression.
