Jury member Vidya Balan was seen with her fellow jury members at the Closing Ceremony of the 66th Cannes Film Festival . The actress continued her love for Sabyasachi by wearing a black and military green outfit with golden embroidery.
Since her first day at Cannes the actress has been wearing her friend cum designer Sabyasachi’s outfits. Though her outfit was a change from the matronly sarees, it did not steer far from Sabyasachi’s styling. Wish he had used more colours and let some skin show!
Vidya wore a floor-length Sabyasachi anarkali which had a black embellished high-neck jacket on top. The gold sequin dupatta added some much required bling to the outfit. A matching black clutch completed her look. Since the Cannes outing, Vidya Balan has been putting minimal makeup in neutral shades along with tightly tied hair but today she surprised us. While her outift was not the best hear makeup was immaculate and her messy braid made her look young.
This was Vidya’s first stint at the Cannes Film Festival and she addressed the audience with a traditional Indian gesture ‘Namaste at the closing ceremony. Well Vidya for next time it would be advisable to discuss you choice of attires and jewellery with fellow Bollywood divas!
