Sunanda Pushkar’s death came as a shock to many and like many successful women she chose to die in solitude in a quaint hotel room in Delhi. A few days back Sunanda was in a twitter war with Mehr Trar, who was allegedly after her hubby Sashi Tharoor. So here are 9 shocking facts about her untimely death which make it a mystery:

Anti-depressive overdose: Sunanda was on anti-depressives and if she was taking this medication why was she allowed to keep a whole packet when the effects of Alprax are well known.

The Mehr Trar war: Sashi was allegedly involved with Mehr Trar who is a Pakistani journalist and a few days back Sunanda took to twitter to expose this affair as she believes Sashi was about to leave her post 2014 elections. Mehr also replied to Sunanda and was shocked to hear of her death.

Marriage on rocks: Apparently the day before her death Sashi and Sunanda had a huge row as they were traveling to Delhi by flight. In fact many people including a CCTV footage shows Sunanda running to the washroom, in tears, as her flight landed.

Verbal and physically abused woman: It is sad to see when women of power are treated like this. But her preliminary autopsy reports say that Sunanda had marks on her wrists which raised suspicion that she was physically abused!

Post-mortem reports: Preliminary autopsy reports say that Sunandha had an unnatural and untimely death.

Sashi and Sunanda’s past: The couple fell in love and married in 2010 but both of them have been married twice before this and it was their third marriage each!

The shady phone call: Reportedly Sashi Tharoor did not call the police when he discovered his wife’s body. He instead called his lawyer who made the call to the police.

Property angle: Sunanda had amassed a lot of wealth as a successful entrepreneur and just three months prior to her sudden death she had drawn her will.

Natural death: Sunanda had been suffering from Lupus and she was also diagnosed with stomach TB and was on a three month treatment, so maybe the medicines reacted!
