List of celebrities invited to Ram Mandir’s inauguration

22 January 2024 is going to be a big day. On this day the idol of Lord Ram will be installed in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. About 4,000 priests and 2,500 eminent personalities are expected to participate in it. Ram Mandir will be inaugurated on January 22, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi among other leaders. Thousands of seers from across the country have been invited for the ceremony and the invitees also include families of the laborers who erected the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Over 7,000 people are on the invitee list of the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, including Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, and industrialists. 

Invitees from Bollywood include names like Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Anupam Kher, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sunny Deol, Tiger Shroff, Rajkumar Hirani, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ajay Devgan and Madhur Bhandarkar.  Arun and Deepika, who played the roles of Lord Ram and Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, have also been invited.  

Apart from this, South Indian stars Rajinikanth, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, Yash and Rishabh Shetty have also been formally invited to Ayodhya for this important day.  

Spiritual leaders like the Dalai Lama, Mata Amritanandamayi and yoga guru Baba Ramdev are among the distinguished invitees. Dignitaries from major temples like Kashi Vishwanath and Vaishno Devi have also been invited.  

Industrialists Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani are also likely to participate in this ceremony. Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and other players from the world of cricket have been invited.  

As per recent updates, the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is nearing completion, with preparations for its inauguration proceeding rapidly. A grand Mahapuja and Mahaarti are scheduled to take place on January 22, coinciding with the consecration of Ramlala in the temple.

As per media reports, Ram Mandir will be available to the public two days after the ceremony. The administration is prepared to deal with the enormous crowd of devotees coming to visit Ayodhya’s Ram temple.
