Welcome to the all new Gallow Green which is a fine dine restaurant in the MGF Mall, right next to Select Citywalk mall, Saket. Gallow Green opened its doors last week and they have a special sushi week happening to celebrate their opening. Now our knowledge of sushi comes from most high end Japanese restaurants so after talking to the manager, we knew we were in for some fusion and different sushi.

Ambience: Gallow Green has a dream like beautiful entry with starry lights, and a small wooden bridge. The seating is open and in this hot weather, they have a couple of mist fans which makes sitting comfortable. This can be a fun evening out especially in winters or come Monsoon rains.

Service: While it has been a few days since the place opened, the staff knows the food. The service is okay.

Food: We tried a variety of sushi, from their salmon specials to the delicate crab sushi. For me the salmon sushi stood out as it was the best. But the vegetarian sushis were the star of the table. The cream cheese sushi is a beautiful mix of cream cheese, green apples and cucumber. It is a must have for its exotic combination.

Mango infused sushi

The mango infused sushi was well received on our table too, but was a tad bit sweet for my tastebuds. The fusion sushi at Gallow Green has been modified to suit our Indian palates better and this works for them, surprisingly.

Our drink a spiced mango mocktail, a Mojito were perfect for the balmy summer evening.

For mains we wanted a little bit of Indian Chinese and that is exactly what we got the chilly chicken and steamed rice combo for dinner was average, at its best. The chilly paneer though tasted great.
