Devil’s Prawns

Indian women find making seafood a tedious task. But seafood is healthier and lighter than meats and goes amazingly with alcohol. Try this easy scrumptious prawn recipe and have it with a cold glass of beer for a treat to your taste buds. Be a seafood goddess and impress your friends and family.

 

 

 

Ingredients:

• 20 large Prawns (try frozen ones from Cambay Tiger)
• 2 teaspoons chilly powder
• A pinch of turmeric
• 1 teaspoon cumin powder
• 1 teaspoon coriander powder
• 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• Coriander leaves for garnishing
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

• Clean the prawns by chopping off head and devein them. Leave the tail and shell on it. Try frozen ones like Cambay Tiger.
• To the cleaned prawns, add all the ingredients except coriander leaves and oil.
• Let it marinate for about 10 minutes. After that heat olive oil (any other oil can also be used) on a pan on high heat.
• Add the prawns and saute for about 1 minute on each side until it changes color to pinkish white.
• Be sure that the prawns are in contact with the pan, to avoid any undercooked ones!
• Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
