This was a great year for Mumbai Indians as they won the IPL trophy for the fourth time. And now as IPL 2020 auction has begun franchise teams are engaging in a fierce bidding war to make sure that they get the best players.
As per reports, Kolkata Knight Riders bid Rs.15.5 crore for Australian pacer Pat Cummins and 17-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal received a bid of Rs.2.4 crore from Rajasthan Royals. Many top players were recruited quickly.
Tamil Nadu cricketer Shahrukh Khan was also one of the players that didn’t get selected. The auction took place in KRK’s home state Kolkata, a team owned by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
