17-year old actor Zaira Wasim had a horrifying experience which left her teary-eyed:
Actress Zaira Wasim alleged that she was molested by a man sitting with her on Delhi-Mumbai flight. Though, the airline was quick in apologizing to her and said that it has “Zero tolerance for such behavior.
Reportedly, the man was caressing her neck while she was sleeping. Due to dim lights, she couldn’t record the incident. But, she posted a picture in which the man’s foot was clearly on her seat. Zaira shared this terrible experience in an Instagram story.
The Dangal actress called out the cabin crew for help but it was of no use. In her live video session, she expressed her annoyance with the crew members on the flight.
Vistara has been asked to do a detailed investigation into the issue.
Sanjeev Kapoor, chief strategy, and commercial officer, Vistara said “We are aware of the incident reported by Ms. Zaira Wasim on our flight UK981 last night from Delhi to Mumbai. We are carrying out a detailed investigation of the incident which involved a male passenger on the flight. To understand the incident at greater length, we are talking to our crew who were serving Ms. Wasim and reaching out to fellow passengers as well.
We @airvistara have seen the reports regarding @ZairaWasimmm experience with another customer on board last night. We are carrying out detailed investigation and will support Zaira in every way required. We have zero tolerance for such behaviour.

According to the sources, the airline crew approached Wasim after the flight landed and requested her to file a complaint. Also, the source added “The crew could not help her at that time because the flight was about to land and crew members were in seating position….They also went out to look for her and founded her mother, they requested her to file a complaint. However, they did not do it.
