Story: Set in Chambal Revolver Rani  is the story of Alka Singh aka Revolver Rani(Kangna)( an unwanted girl child who grows up to scare everyone in the area, courtesy the ease with which she uses her gun,)  who is a dacoit-turned-politician. Alka has lost her seat to the opposition Tomars in Gwalior, resulting in bloody bullet baths.  Alka, with the help of her vily mama, Balli (Piyush Mishra), is trying to win back power by fighting for adivasis whom the Tomars have cheated out of their land. Rohan (Vir), a struggling Bollywood actor and her full-time obsession. While he wants to use Kangna as a step to stardom but instead becomes her sex-machine.

Music: The music of the film is composed by Sanjeev Srivastava and the lyrics are penned by Puneet Sharma. Shaheen Iqbal. The title track thyan, thyan, thyan is a catchy number  while Bol Rahi Hai Payal takes to you back to the era of 90’s. Chanda Ki Katori Mein is a lullaby sung  by Garima Aneja. Pehle Lohe Ki Chingaari starts with the sound of a bullet and gives you a perfect feeling of an opera. Overall the music of the film is average.

Why you should miss: At some parts the film is very disappointing and if you don’t like a mix of action and comedy you can easily give it a miss.

Why you should watch the film: The story is a mix of a mix of emotions, part affection, part repulsion and part excitement. The dialogues in the movie are fun to watch and Kangna’s  quirky clothes like embellished jackets, metalic bustiers, half moon glasses are jaw dropping.  Piyush Mishra and Zakir Hussain fit into the roles perfectly.

Special mention:   A special mention has to be made of a TV anchor in the film, who got the best lines in the script and managed to evoke the maximum amount of laughter.
