This trick can be used in many cleaning methods. With baking soda, you can clean almost every type of shoes.

How to do:In a small bucket half filled with warm water, sprinkle two-thirds of a cup of baking soda. Now pour a dime-sized amount of dishwashing detergent. Next, dip the bristles of the toothbrush into the bucket. Vigorously scrub until you see that the marks and the dirt are removed.

  • Petroleum Jelly

  • Nail Polish

If you see a scratch or smudge on your coloured shoes, nail polish can be a great help for you in hiding them. Be careful with the coats as it is thick.

  • Wash your laces

After a few months of use, the laces of your shoes might be dirt-clad and instead of buying a new one, you can clean the older ones. All you have to do is soak them in detergent with warm water for few hours and then  washing them with clean water.

Machine wash

Rather than directly putting the shoes in the machine , put them a laundry or net bag. You can even use a an old pillow cover as a bag.
