Preparations are in full swing in New Delhi for the upcoming G20 Summit 2023. Extensive security arrangements have been made, 5-star hotels have been booked, and a lot of more arrangements have also been made. 

The G20 Summit is the upcoming 18th meeting of twenty countries (G20 2023 countries). In the year 2023, different summits of the G20 group are going on in other cities in India. Under this, the G20 Summit 2023 meetings will continue in the country till December. Different types of events will continue to happen in it. 

The two-day G20 Summit Meetings 2023 will be held on September 9-10 in New Delhi, the capital of India, preparations for the last phase of which are on the ways., and The theme of the event is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – One Earth One family One Future. The Group of Twenty (G20) consists of 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States) and the European Union.

All government departments, offices, organizations, undertakings, corporations, boards, statutory bodies, educational institutions etc. of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi will remain closed between September 8 and September 10 (Delhi Closed on G20 Summit). This instruction will also apply to all private offices, educational or other institutions within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. 

The Delhi Traffic Police has also released a detailed advisory on the traffic movement during the G20 Summit. Traffic restrictions will come into effect from the night of September 7 and remain in place till September 11.

No heavy or medium goods vehicles, except those classified as essential or emergency, will be permitted to travel on the Gurugram-Delhi Expressway towards Delhi from September 8 to September 10 during the G20 summit, Gurugram traffic police officers aware of the matter said on Friday.
