Every winter the hunt for a perfect open air restaurant to enjoy the chilly Delhi. Finally one perfect gem in GK’s designer N Block market has met with our idea of fun. While I visited Penthouse in summers and it was too hot to go out and sit, winters and a bloggers meet has changed my outlook.
Ambience: Brainchild of Sunny Bhatia, Penthouse is here to offer its patrons a memorable time with the finest in food, drinks, ambience and decor for a signified experience. The architecture as the name suggests is inspired by a Modern Day penthouse. Penthouse is a stylish lounge, “the feeling of luxury and grandeur is the first step experience of this place,” says Sunny. An important aspect we noticed is that the wooden chairs and couches give a classic English bar feel. However, you feel at ease much like you would at a friends place.
Food: They serve the best Red Thai Curry & rice in the market! The top floor with its bar, lounge style sitting and an open terrace is perfect for a meet with friends to party and eat.
The food menu at Penthouse explains the finesse and craftsmanship that has gone into building this tasteful eatery. It serves the best modern global Cuisine with dishes from across the globe and a regal dining experience.This place is a gastronomical delight !
We loved the tikkas and the crisp spring rolls stuffed with crunchy veggies. We remember their saffron tangri is a big hit!
I loved their chicken keema pao with lots of butter on top. The drinks offered here range from high end sparkling wines, champagnes and single malts to the best of the mixed cocktails. People who tasted their shots sweared by them.
We tried the exotic thin crust Pizzas with oodles of cheese. I loved the thin crust chicken pizza. Honestly its the kind of place you can come and eat, drink and make merry with your friends. Worth a try this winter.
