Check out Sabyasachi’s new spring/summer collection:

Last year Sabyasachi Mukherjee was in the headlines because of the amazing bridal looks he gave to Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. It won’t be wrong to say that the year 2018 belonged to him because of his amazing creations. He took the fashion industry by a storm. By modifying the textures and patterns, he made simple outfits look stylish. After setting some serious bridal outfit goals, the designer just released his new spring/summer 2019 collection and it’s out of the world.

 

Explaining his new collection he said:  “As a bridal designer, I keep thinking “what’s next?” and I keep coming back to khadi. Again and again. It is sophisticated, cultural and powerful. For me, khadi is equivalent to wellness and nothing can be more luxurious than that. When I look back at the last 20 years, my khadi bridal lehengas are what I am most proud of. Combined with Indian jewelry and flowers they create a very potent and timeless image. Humble, with a tinge of arrogance. Some of my most discerning customers globally have chosen to wear khadi lehengas for their wedding.

Almost all of them are not on Instagram. Pity!”

In his latest collection, he used organdy couture, chintz florals, intricate jewelry, and also redefined traditional designs with modern whimsy

The collection consists of lehengas in shades of pink, red and yellow. All the lehengas are made with embroidery.
